Yes... again.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Just another quick post about this... as we originally posted quite a few days, the following image has been floating around the internet recently:

Although the image was believed to be a fake, a preview of the Black/White anime appeared today in Japan, showing the following image:

Does the shape of that girl look a bit familar? Her name is Iris, and the series is set to be called Pocket Monsters - Best Wishes. So, let's have a look at what we originally broke to you last week:

This looks likely to be a new Team Rocket Pokémon. Apparently called Koromori ( コロモリ).

Possibly a new fossil Pokémon? Reminds me a bit of Shieldon.

Possibly an evolution of Mijimaru?

Possibly an evolution of Tsutaja?

And less excitingly but still excitingly, two new Anime characters, including Iris:

Please remember that although this looks likely, despite what other websites may say this is still not 100% confirmed, although it is starting to look pretty legit. Just remember where you heard it first originally!

I can't wait to see them all in color. The gecko starter evo thing looks pretty cool already, though. Mijimaru's isn't too bad either. Can't wait to see if either one have any secondary typing.

Gah, I told myself I would wait and find out for myself about the starters' evolutions. Oh well, there's always their final stages...

yup, ams2k, i was just thinking the same. koromori looks like they tried to breed a koffing and a zubat and it just went wrong...

Wats up with the Koffing with wings??? That's so unoriginal. Iris's hair is crazy!! And I rly hope they come out with pokabu's evolution soon. (Sigh)

...I guess now's a bad time to say I thought that guy looked cool. ^^; Curious as to what role he and (what I assume is) his Umbreon play in the plot more than anything, though.
