The Underground :: Diamond, Pearl and Platinum Other Pages

Unlike the previous regions, Sinnoh has a secret underground. Yes, it's amazing, no it's fabulous isn't it? I'll get there straight away. This has a variety of functions which is even better, using the DS to DS wireless linkup. To access this amazing thing you need to get the Explorer Kit; a Key Item from a man in Eterna City.

Secret Bases

Like in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald bases make a proud return. However they have a function in a brand new minigame...

Capture The Flag!

You guessed it capture the flag is a small minigame that you and your friend can play. However your friends are capable of placing traps - that you can find scattered around the Underground or that you can buy from the Hikers down there using Spheres - such as Boulders and stuff like that, to stop you progressing. The winner is the first to get back to their base with the flag and you can get base upgrades. The following table has the flag upgrades you can get and what they give you:

0	Normal	Can put 10 decorations in base
1	Bronze	Can put 12 decorations in base and can remove 1 rock
3	Silver	Can put 15 decorations in base and can remove 5 rocks
10	Gold	Can put 15 decorations in base and can remove 10 rocks
50	Platinum	Can put 15 decorations in base and remove 16 rocks (which is all of them)

Fossil Hunting

Last but not least is a minesweeper type game called Fossil Hunting you have to hit certain areas and dig out the Gems, Fossils and Evolution Stones but wait for it.... you get to keep them!
