Ruby and Sapphire are going to be very interesting!

Screenshots have been released that show a situation similar to one of the first screens released, showing a trainer walking through a puddle. This time though, there is rain drops covering the front of the screen.

This can provoke speculation about two semi-major things. I think we can safely say that there will be some sort of weather effects in the game, meaning things like automatic raindance and things- this could effect battles a lot. Does the puddle we saw in the original screenshot only appear after and during rain? Is the Pokémon world more dynamic than we thought? Only time will tell.

We don't have the screenshots at the moment, but they'll be online as soon as we get a copy of them.
