Expedition is the first TCG set to take advantage of storing data for the GBA e-readere in the cards.

Only
hours after PUK first reported that the Game Boy Advance E-Reader would be
released in America in September, the first pictures of the first english E-Card
set have emerged.
Theud is reporting that the the set will be called Expedition, and will feature an astonishingly large 165 new cards, including two versions of some of our favorite starting Pokémon.
It appears that this set, apart from unlocking a whole new experience for those lucky enough to own an E-Reader, will give players alternative cards to use in the regular TCG game.
The set appears to be a conversion of the language from its Japanese counterpart- as is to be expected. This means that no new Ruby and Sapphire Pokémon will be featured.
This might just be the excuse you need to start buying Pokémon cards again. PUK expects the retail price to be somewhere between $1 and $100.
