Just as America get the forth movie, the Japanese are getting the 5th on DVD. Click for more.

If you're living in Japan and the owner of one of those new fangled DVD playing machines, you can buy the 5th Pokémon movie from the 20th December.

Obviously, the marketing team have mastered the "release it before Christmas" skill.

If that isn't exciting enough, before that, on the 22nd November you can buy the Pikachu mini-movie on DVD. It was cut from the main film, just like the others were in Japan. It is expected to include a relevant episode of the TV series to make the DVD longer than twenty minutes.

At the moment, we are unaware of any DVD extras that might be included. We'll keep you posted, though.

Remember, Japanese DVDs are Region 2, meaning, if your wallets large enough, you can import and they'll work just fine......providing you can navigate the menus.
