Season 6, known as Advanced Generation in Japan, has been given a western title.

The company that distributes Pokémon to the TV channels, Lacey Entertainement, has announced the US title for the sixth season of 52 episodes. In the west Advanced Generation is to be known as Pokémon: Advanced.

This series has already been snapped up by broadcasters worldwide. In the UK Sky One and GMTV have renewed their commitments. Others include TF1 (France), Fox Kids (France, Nertherlands and Spain), Media Set (Italy) and YTV (Canada).
