Pokémon will be shown as part of SMTV Gold from next Saturday.

It seems three years after it was dropped, Pokémon will once again be part of Saturday morning show, SMTV. However, next week the show will be renamed SMTV Gold and will also feature clips of former presenters Ant, Dec and Cat. This nostalgafest will transport fans back to the golden age of Pokémon, which was last seen as part of the SMTV in May 2001.

This move on ITV's part is due to a drop in ratings for SMTV. It will finish at the end of the year and be replaced by new Saturday morning show. The episode of Pokémon shown will probably be a repeat.
