The first mainly animé channel for the UK has aquired the rights to show Season 1 of Pokémon.

Viewers (with Sky) who missed any of Ash and co.'s early adventures will be now able to catch repeats of them on the Toonami channel. From next week episodes from Season 1 will be showing at 8.30am and 3pm (with the same episode in both slots). It looks like Sky One has lost the rights to show these episodes, but they still appear to be showing the new ones.
