Nintendo patent an acronym!

Nintendo have registered two new names and logos with the Japanese patent office- with Game Freak having something to do with one of them.

"Nintendo V-Pocket" is presumably nothing to do with Pokémon- and nobody really knows what this is. More excitingly, is "PCGP", which is presumably an acronym relating to a new Pokémon game or something. Any guesses? Post your comments below!

Pokémon Center New York shutting down!

The NY Pokémon store has already temporarily closed for "refurbishment". Turns out that when the store re-opens in the spring, it'll be a Nintendo stop instead- selling a wide range of Nintendo goods.

Possible name for new Gamecube game!

Remember that new Pokémon games on the Gamecube we've talked about a few times? Apparently it's going to be called "Pokémon Colosseum XD", whatever that means. More news as we get it.
