No Misty next series, Ruby and Sapphire Starters revealed, Psythor nearly explodes :: News

A picture tells a thousand words.

In the last few minutes, the above picture has been unearthered on the official Pokémon website, and it tells us an awful lot about Pokémon in the future.

First of all, the three starting Pokémon in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire (Advance) seem to have finally been revealed. The Pokémon above the characters appear to be Fire, Water and Grass- traditional starter types, and Ash usually gets all of the starters.

Also, notice how the girl trainer from the new Pokémon games appears to be joining Brock and Ash on their quest- whatever it may be this time around. Notice: a lack of Misty. It seems that Misty is sitting this series out.

In the background of the first picture you can see that bearded guy who I don't know who he is, and a kid who Dan descibed as a "human Jigglypuff". He speculates that perhaps Ash is a Pokémon Master in the new league, and he is teaching the kid? Also, the oldies have had a change of costume, if you havn't already noticed.
