Pokemon Sunday has revealed this thing!

.. This is possibly the first thing that I can agree with Gen 5 cynics when I say “What the heck?”

This thing is of course the new Grass-Type Yanappu, the Pokemon leaked through a toyline a few months ago. I wish they hadn't bothered. But never mind what I think, its ability is Gluttony and it learns Acrobat, a new move that doubles if the foe has no held item and allows the user to reach a Pokemon it couldn't normally in 3v3 battles.

Statistics fans would like to know this is the Grass Monkey Pokemon, is 0.6 Metres heigh and weighs 10.5g. So I just told you.

Interestingly, it seems the confirmed first gym leader, Dento has one in the anime. If this reflects his in-game team and specialised Pokemon theme or perhaps a broader theme for Gym Leaders' pokemon makes it possible that he won't be the cliché Rock-type First Gym Leader that has been in 3 out of 4 generations.

Well who knows. Stick to PKMN.NET and maybe we'll show you another Pokemon that won't make you cry in your sleep.
