Chandelure	Pyre 1. Pyre is a synonym for fire. 2. It references a funeral pyre, which is a large wooden structure that houses a body, which is then burned with the body inside. It is one of the earliest forms of cremation. Chandelure shows the qualities of the burning (Fire-type) and the fact that it is used with deceased persons (Ghost-type). Also, it shows a bit of irony, as Chandelure's powers burn the spirit and not the body, the opposite of what cremation and funeral pyres perform. Chandelure	Candlejack I based the name off of the character from the show Freakazoid. Chandelure is obviously based off of a chandelier and is a ghost type. The character Candlejack had a ghostly appearance and carried a candle with him. Chandelure's first stage is of a candle, so I took a piece of my nostalgia and gave it to my pokemon.
